A record of the marriage between Robert Pitt and Mary Bridger is found in the Isle of Wight County, VA Order Book, (1759-63, pgs 177-207).
Robert Pitt served in the North Carolina Militia during the Revolutionary War. He was paid the sum of 15£ for his service. Primary source documentation regarding this can be found in the North Carolina Revolutionary Army Accounts, Vol. 10, page 17, folio 4.
NB: I have not listed all of their children but rather only the direct line in this instance.
