Henry Pitt, Jr.

I do not have a great deal of information regarding Henry Pitt, Jr.  In fact, had it not been for a wonderfully written book entitled Southside Virginia Families (John Bennett Bodie) and an article in The William and Mary Quarterly, Second Series, Vol. 18, No. 3 (Jul., 1938), pp. 350-360, I would not have known where to look for any documentation on this couple.

The Southside Virginia Families is a two volume set which can be purchased through Amazon or Genealogical dot com.  These volumes are quite informative regarding many of southern families and as a result have been a great help when researching my MANY family lines in Virginia in those early days.

Note - Mary Bagnall was the daughter of Nathan Bagnall and Ann Wilkinson as primary source documentation of Nathan's Last Will attests.
