Found: A Killian Connection

Recently, I was happy to assist my Uncle and a friend of his who also has the surname Killian to determine if we were related or not.

I'm happy to report that we indeed seem to be so.

Joseph Bennett Killian was the son of:

Reuben Lott Killian (& Phoebe Bennett)

Born: 15 Aug 1858, Dade County, GA
Died: 30 Mar 1941, California

Reuben Lott Killian was the son of:

Joseph W. Killian

Born: 25 Oct 1818, Tennessee
Died: 14 Nov 1874, Morganville, Dade County, GA

Joseph W. Killian was the son of:

William Thomas Killian (& Elizabeth Bost)

Born: 12 Jan 1787, Lincoln Co., North Carolina
Died: 29 Dec 1845, Trenton, Dade Co., GA

William Thomas Killian was the son of:

Samuel C. Killian

Born: 1756, Lincoln Co., North Carolina
Died: abt 1807, Lincoln Co., North Carolina


And Samuel C. Killian was the son of Andreas Killian, our immigrant ancestor.
