William Henderson Garrett was born 22 August 1851 in Franklin, Heard Co., Georgia to William Buford Garrett and Permelia Ann "Milly Ann" Slaton.
On 19 Dec 1872, William Henderson Garrett married Emma Ida Brown (Daughter of Confederate Casualty Samuel Thomas Brown and Mary Angeline Stuart.)
They had the following children:

Benjamin Alfred
Mary Melinda
Robert Leonard
Ada Roberta
Ida Bell
William Allen
Walter Buford
Sometime between 1880 and 1900 the family made a big move, settling in Saline Co., Arkansas.
William Henderson Garrett's last census record was in 1920 in Haskell, Saline County where he worked on his own account as a Truck Farmer.
He passed away 10 April 1928 and Emma soon followed on the 12th of August of the same year.
Both were laid to rest in Graham Cemetery, Saline County, Arkansas.
